While an apartment refers to a residential unit or property, a leasing agent is a professional who rents out apartments and manages leasing processes. The leasing agent typically requires real estate licensing and works directly with prospective tenants, whereas an apartment is the property being leased. Understanding these differences helps job seekers and industry professionals navigate roles and responsibilities effectively.
