Posting Description Account Executive I - Construction & Infrastructure

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Construction business group within Aon.

This role will be hybrid working from our Green Bay, WI office.

What the day will look like
  • Market new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.
  • Ensure that placements are handled correctly and on time
  • Build and maintain detailed knowledge of Casualty insurance marketplace, products and services.
  • Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams
  • Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures.
  • Coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs.
  • Present to local account executives, participate in RFPs, occasional client meetings and conference calls.
  • Key member of the client facing team, acting as a trusted advisor to the executive level client in broking, designing, selling and servicing complex accounts.
  • Serves as a primary internal source for information concerning market trends, pricing practices and other underwriting policies, often within a specialized area.
  • Responsible for planning, scheduling, resourcing and implementing large projects/ programs.
  • Frequently interacts with senior level colleagues and clients, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or clients and the company.

This is an opportunity to join Aon’s leading Construction & Infrastructure practice and serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients on complex casualty risks. You will take ownership of sophisticated placements from market strategy through policy delivery, influence critical coverage and pricing decisions, and collaborate with senior colleagues, underwriters, and local teams to deliver customized solutions. Backed by Aon’s significant placement volume, deep construction expertise, global network, and strong service infrastructure, you will have the resources and market access to create meaningful outcomes for construction and infrastructure clients.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Required Experience:
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, outstanding organizational skills, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Casualty insurance brokerage and/or underwriting experience
  • Solid understanding of carrier underwriting practices & processes.
  • Validated leadership skills in working with teams and ability to work with clients and to optimally exceed client expectations.
  • Proven client facing skills including effective presentations & communications.
  • Proven organization and ability to work with others.
  • Experience in resource deployment and utilization management.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling interaction at multiple levels.
  • Successfully operates in a fast-paced driven environment that requires the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must maintain appropriate broker’s license.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the industry

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Wisconsin. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
