Job Description

We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented leader to oversee and elevate our logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and distribution. This pivotal role will drive continuous improvement, support company-wide supply chain objectives, and build future-ready capabilities to meet evolving business demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Optimize transportation modes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead warehousing operations to enhance safety, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure network optimization for omni-channel fulfillment.
  • Champion process and systems improvements, including automation and digital transformation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing logistics team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and cost control initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational challenges and support business priorities.
  • Maintain continuity plans for critical operations and material flow.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics 
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in WMS, ERP systems, and distribution operations.
  • Experience managing both union and non-union environments.
  • Proven track record in international logistics (freight, customs, 3PL).
  • MBA or APICS certification preferred.
  • Robust Lean background, with emphasis on lean warehousing and material flow.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology for operational excellence:
  • Clear understanding of effective and ineffective solutions.
  • Strategic preparation for advanced technologies.
  • Proficient in WMS, MRP, and related systems.
  • Skilled in warehouse design and bin strategy optimization.
