The Logistics Dispatch Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing product shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery while maintaining accurate logistics records and documentation. The role serves as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and carriers, handling route planning, freight audits, issue resolution, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in logistics or transportation, strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics software, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a global supply chain.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

· Schedule, coordinate and manage deliveries of Arrow Product

· Monitor and manage shipments to ensure OTP (on-time pick-up) and OTD (on-time delivery)

· Accurately load information into the system and complete necessary paperwork

· Act as a liaison between external and internal customers to ensure timely scheduling and pick up.

· Route all deliveries using Arrow International, Inc. software.

· Support business initiatives including lead time and cost reduction, new product development, and learning of logistics network.

· Audit freight bills and work with carriers and distributors to correct improperly billed invoices.

· Effectively resolve any issues that may arise in relation to logistics.

· Actively participate in departmental meetings

· Actively engage in solving crisis situations that would affect the company and is constantly concerned with process improvement.

· Develop and maintain procedures and task tracking.

· Other tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager.


Prerequisites

· Strong analytical skills.

· Access to reliable internet connection from home is essential.

· Experience with MS Office and data program

· Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

· PC, mechanical and electrical aptitude.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong customer relations and phone skills.

· Must be self-motivated to work independently without direct supervision.

· Effective planning and organizational skills to efficiently manage time and call load.

· Competency in various software applications including MSOffice.

· Experience with Proprietary software a plus.

· PC applications support experience.


Experience and Education

· Three (3) years of experience in logistics or transportation

· Four (4) years of progressive experience performing duties related to planning, developing, scheduling, managing, and implementing processes.

· Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with a manufacturing company that has a global footprint and supply chain.

· Availability to work weekends.
