Job Summary:

American Insurance Marketing Groupis seeking an Annuity Sales Specialist to help clients safeguard their long-term financial well-being through annuity and retirement income solutions. Operating within a Medicare-focused sales environment, this role combines proactive business development with ongoing client relationship management and serves as the organization's dedicated annuity resource.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys building new opportunities, developing relationships, and growing a book of business. The Annuity Sales Specialist will educate clients on retirement income strategies, assess their financial protection needs, and recommend annuity products that complement their Medicare coverage and support their broader retirement planning goals. Working closely with Medicare sales professionals, this individual will help expand the organization's annuity business while delivering exceptional client service and financial guidance.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, offering 2-3 days spent in the office and the remainder working remotely or meeting with clients in the field. Primary office location isJohnstown, PA. Team members may also work from theAltoona, PA office, which offersadditionalworkspace and flexibility based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Prospecting

  • Generate new and existing business through outbound outreach, referrals, community events, partnerships, and Medicare-related lead sources while consistently achieving sales and business development goals.

  • Conduct client needs assessments toidentifyretirement income opportunities and recommend annuity solutions that support long-term financial security.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of clients through ongoing relationship management, policy reviews, retirement planning discussions, and exceptional customer service.

  • Strengthen client relationships byidentifyingadditionalsolutions that align with evolving financial goals, Medicare milestones, and long-term financial needs.

Product Knowledge & Compliance

  • Maintainexpertisein fixed, indexed, and hybrid annuity products, retirement income planning, Medicare-related financial considerations, and industry trends.

  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements, carrier guidelines, regulatory standards, and continuing education requirements.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Collaborate with Medicare sales teams to coordinate client strategies, share opportunities, and deliver comprehensive retirement solutions.

  • Partner with marketing, operations, and compliance teams to support business initiatives, client communications, and growth opportunities.

  • Participate in team meetings, training, coaching, and professional development activities to support individual and team success.

  • Serve as the organization's dedicated annuity specialist, helping expand and grow this area of the business through consultative sales and relationship-building efforts.

RequiredQualifications

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain).

  • At least 1 year of experience selling annuities, retirement products, insurance products, or related financial services.

  • Proven success in business development, sales, and relationship management.

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

  • High levelof professionalism, integrity, and commitment to compliant sales practices.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare sales experience.

  • Experience working with Medicare-eligible clients.

  • Knowledge of fixed, indexed, and hybrid annuity products.

  • Experience managing and growing abook of business.

  • Experience in retirement income planning or retirement-focused financial products.
