Nannies who care for children of varying ages often navigate challenges such as balancing the diverse needs of each child and managing conflicting schedules or routines. For example, younger children may require more hands-on attention, while older children might need help with homework or have extracurricular activities. Acupuncturist

Annie's Apothecary

Boerne, TX โ€ข On-site

Part-time

Re-posted 28 days ago

Job description

Licensed Acupuncturist — Guaranteed Part-Time Hours — No Weekends

Boerne / Northwest San Antonio / Texas Hill Country

Annie’s Apothecary is seeking a compassionate, Texas-licensed acupuncturist to join our growing integrative wellness practice in Boerne. This is a part-time W-2 position with 16 guaranteed paid hours per week for the first six months, a consistent two-day schedule, and the opportunity to add additional days as patient demand develops.
You will not be expected to build a practice alone. Annie’s will provide the treatment space, administrative infrastructure, marketing and community outreach needed to establish a sustainable acupuncture service. Our initial focus will be excellent patient care, retention, community relationships, and reasonable long-term growth.

Compensation and Schedule
  • $50–$55 per hour, depending on experience
  • 16 guaranteed paid hours per week for the first six months
  • Two consistent weekday shifts, established collaboratively
  • No weekends required
  • Paid time for approved administrative work, educational events and community outreach
  • Opportunity for a patient-production bonus after an agreed revenue threshold is reached
  • Opportunity to add a third day and progress toward full-time employment as demand develops
  • Employee pricing on professional-grade supplements and compounded prescription medications
Why Join Annie’s Apothecary?

Practice Without the Go-It-Alone Burden

Annie’s will provide:
  • A clinical treatment room
  • Electronic health-record access
  • HIPAA-compliant virtual-visit capabilities
  • Optional documentation-assistance technology
  • Website and social-media promotion
  • In-store marketing and educational materials
  • Community and practitioner outreach
  • Promotion to Annie’s Apothecary’s established customer base
  • Opportunities to participate in local events
  • Access to professional-grade supplements and Fullscript support
You can concentrate on caring for patients while Annie’s supports the operational and promotional sides of the service.

Established Integrative-Wellness Environment
Annie’s Apothecary is a trusted prescription compounding apothecary serving Boerne and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Our clinical pharmacists work with personalized medications, hormone therapy, medication management, supplements, and broader wellness concerns.
The acupuncturist will have access to software and pharmacists who can help evaluate potential herb–drug and supplement–drug interactions. This creates a collaborative environment in which acupuncture, pharmacy care, and wellness education can complement one another while each practitioner maintains independent clinical judgment.

Meaningful Patient Opportunities
Our customers frequently seek additional support for concerns such as:
  • Chronic pain and musculoskeletal discomfort
  • Stress and sleep
  • Inflammation
  • Women’s health and fertility
  • Menopause and hormone-related concerns
  • Digestive wellness
  • General health maintenance and preventive wellness
Annie’s will actively introduce and promote acupuncture services to appropriate customers, local healthcare professionals and the broader community. Patient volume cannot be guaranteed, but the acupuncturist will not bear sole responsibility for developing the service.

Sustainable Growth
We want to build a respected, lasting acupuncture practice—not rush toward an arbitrary patient count. Early success will be evaluated through quality of care, professionalism, patient satisfaction, retention, collaboration, and reasonable practice development.
As the patient base grows, the number of treatment days will grow to a larger part-time or full-time role.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct appropriate patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide acupuncture and related services within the Texas acupuncture scope of practice
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
  • Educate patients about treatment recommendations and expected outcomes
  • Communicate appropriately with pharmacists and other members of the patient’s healthcare team as needed
  • Help create a welcoming, compassionate, and professional patient experience
  • Participate periodically in approved community-education or practice-development activities
  • Contribute an occasional 600–700-word patient-focused health article, for publication in local community magazine
Qualifications

Required
  • Active and unrestricted Texas acupuncture license
  • Professional-liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage and list Annie’s Apothecary as an additional insured or covered entity
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered and evidence-informed care
  • Interest in collaborating with pharmacists and other wellness professionals
Preferred, but Not Required
  • NCCAOM certification
  • Experience with pain management, women’s health, stress, wellness or herbal integration
  • Experience with cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, or other complementary modalities within the practitioner’s scope
  • Interest in patient education, public speaking, or health writing
Experienced practitioners and motivated newer practitioners are both encouraged to apply.

Our Practice Culture
Annie’s Apothecary is a Christian-owned business with a faith-informed commitment to compassion, integrity, service, and respect for every patient. Applicants should be comfortable working in this patient-centered environment.
The licensed acupuncturist retains independent clinical judgment and the right to make the clinical treatment recommendations they believe are professionally appropriate.

Location
The position is based in Boerne, Texas, conveniently located for candidates in Northwest San Antonio and throughout the Texas Hill Country. Our location allows practitioners to serve a rapidly growing community while avoiding a traditional downtown San Antonio commute.

How to Apply
Please email the following to scott@anniesrx.com:
  • Your résumé, including your Texas acupuncture license number
  • A brief note describing your primary clinical interests
A formal cover letter is not required.
Use the subject line:  Licensed Acupuncturist — [Your Name]
We welcome confidential conversations with qualified acupuncturists who would like to learn more before formally applying.
Join Annie’s Apothecary and practice independently within an established wellness business while our team supports the infrastructure, promotion, and patient experience around you.
