Overview
Cherryville Animal Hospital, a CareVet partner, is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to lead our practice as Medical Director! Our Medical Directors spend 90+% of their time practicing medicine! This position offers a six-figure salary plus production, clinical support, work/life balance, and a Sign-On Bonus.
Job Summary:
The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.
In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of CareVet leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

  • Knowledge of animal behavior
  • Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
