We're hiring a Director of Nursing (RN) - a compassionate and strategic clinical leader who ensures excellence in care delivery and supports a thriving team environment. This role blends clinical expertise, leadership, and empathy to elevate the quality of life for our residents.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Serve as the clinical liaison between residents, families, nursing staff, physicians, and administrators
  • Evaluate nurse performance and implement best practices to uphold care standards
  • Develop short- and long-term goals for staffing, procedures, and clinical operations
  • Ensure the Resident Care Director effectively manages scheduling, onboarding, and training
  • Monitor departmental expenses and maintain budgetary oversight
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior care or long-term care setting
  • Strong supervisory skills including coaching, team development, and conflict resolution
  • Passion for working with individuals with Alzheimer's and other memory impairments
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours based on business needs
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences
  • Must be comfortable working with animals and pets
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
