Job description

Anderson University (South Carolina) and the College of Health Professions invite applications for a full-time, twelve-month faculty member with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning as Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The position starts in June 2026. An earned doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution is required. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention.

The candidate hired for the position will receive a Professional Path contract. Each contract focuses on teaching, learning and service. An opportunity to promote within faculty ranks is available as the candidate becomes eligible for multi-year contracts.

Candidates should be prepared to teach a full range of graduate nursing courses with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner for graduate nursing students. Teaching load is 24 semester credits per academic year. This is an on-site, in person role.
