Job description

Under the direction of the Customer Service Manager, the Commercial Services Coordinator supports the commercial services division by coordinating, tracking, entering, and managing various activities for business clients, industrial facilities, and other commercial customers. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Accounting, and clients to ensure information is accurately transferred among groups and serves as the client’s point of contact throughout the project process.

This position performs a variety of clerical and administrative activities to ensure proper and accurate processing of relocation activities. The Coordinator also supports the pre-sales process and assists with promoting and selling ancillary services.


  • Works as a liaison between the sales representative and the client to coordinate all aspects of the move and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Interacts with all service areas within the organization, including Operations, Accounting, and Sales, to ensure relocation activities are performed in accordance with contractual and industry guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate working files and ensures completion of all pertinent information.
  • Understands, interprets, and references sales agreements and vendor contracts.
  • Works directly with sales staff to ensure timely reporting of information and data.
  • Maintains communication with clients by phone and email throughout the move process.
  • Processes service and schedule changes, updates client records, and notifies appropriate parties.
  • Provides outstanding value, excellent communication, a willing attitude, reliability, and a professional image while delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrates customer empathy and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Maintains training on all company programs, systems, software, and administrative protocols.
  • Supports the pre-sales process and assists with promoting and selling ancillary services.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of customer service and office/clerical experience.
  • Proficient using MS Windows-based software applications.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to provide support to other team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service, follow-up, communication (verbal and written), and administrative skills.
  • Friendly demeanor with the ability to engage clients and build strong relationships to encourage ongoing business activities.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, and technology-focused environment.
