Job description

Precision Pathology Account Executive

These are often serious decisions with far reaching consequences, and require sensitivity, tact, and a clear dedication to service. It's about providing clarity and hope.

The Precision Pathology Account Executive is a front-line sales executive responsible for profitable growth in geographic area for specialized sales of the Gastro Intestinal/Gastro Urology services.

This is a field-based sales role.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the AmeriPath/Quest practices by attaining sales targets
  • Aligned, deployed around the core AmeriPath/Quest businesses which includes clinical, hereditary cancer testing, and tissue services for various call points
  • Drive sales in assigned territory through targeting, pipeline development, growth of existing accounts, new lead generation and closes, and business development activities
  • Effectively use productivity and marketing tools in the sales process.
  • GI, GU, Surgery Centers, Endoscopy Centers, and Endocrinologist, related to supporting local Ameripath/Quest practices
  • Owns the clinical testing in the call point which would include hereditary genetic solutions (e.g.: GI and Lynch Syndrome, GU and BRCA)
  • Partner with PAE on clinical solutions
Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

  • Five or more years lab, diagnostics or medical sales experience
  • Track record of successful medical sales
  • Experience selling to healthcare professionals
  • Demonstrated success managing customer relationships
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales processes
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in anatomic pathology, oncology, molecular oncology, gastrointestinal, gastro urology and related cancer testing services

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or the Life Sciences (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid driver's license (Required)
