Job Summary:
Pacific Medical Centers is a comprehensive health care organization dedicated to serving communities. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Data Analytics who will provide strategic and data-driven support, oversee reporting and data exchanges, and ensure compliance within healthcare and government-regulated environments.
Responsibilities:
• partnering with service area strategy leads, service line leaders, executives, and operational stakeholders to deliver high-impact analytical insights
• provide strategic and data-driven support across a range of healthcare-focused analyses, including market share evaluation, service line performance, requirements analysis, competitor benchmarking, and regulatory-related reporting
• interpret complex healthcare data and translate it into actionable insights that drive organizational decision-making
• overseeing teams that utilize enterprise Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) tools to automate data integration, data warehouse processes, and file generation
• guide the design, optimization, and governance of scalable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across reporting environments
• production, validation, and submission of all contractually required reports, with a strong emphasis on compliance and precision within healthcare and government-regulated environments
• oversees all reporting and data exchanges with the Department of Defense and its contractors, requiring familiarity with federal healthcare programs, data standards, and reporting requirements
• provides strategic planning support for enterprise data analytics, reporting frameworks, and technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry best practices, regulatory expectations, and organizational priorities
• advancing data automation capabilities and modernizing reporting infrastructure to support evolving healthcare analytics needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree Healthcare, Business, Finance, Information systems, or related field.
• 6 years Related experience including gathering, analyzing, and reporting data for a wide range of internal customers in various organizational areas.
• 5 years Proven experience managing projects.
• 5 years Demonstrated expertise with complex data structures, including independent mining and data exploration, and utilizing business intelligence and data visualization software required (e.g. Tableau, SAP, Business Objects/Crystal Reports, Oracle BI EE, Toad, and MS SQLServer).
• 2 years Direct leadership experience.
Preferred:
• Master's Degree Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Professional experience as a Clinical Analyst, including registries, Database Administrator and/or Planning Analyst or equivalent in a medium to large sized acute care hospital or health system.
• Experience with Access and reporting from a warehouse type database.
• Experience with HEDIS reporting.
• Experience with GE/Centricity/IDX healthcare software application.
