Job description

As an Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Technician, you will perform preventative and basic maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on stockers/devices and will be responsible for supporting a variety of AHMS items. Perform setup, calibration, failure analysis, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance duties on Stockers, vehicles, and multi-layer dummy load ports (MDLP), in a fast-paced clean room manufacturing setting.
This role will work a 4/3/3/4 compressed 12-hour day or night shift.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain equipment logs, repair data and shift status pass-downs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment (Stockers, MDLP, Vehicles)
  • Work closely with Mechanical and software engineers for troubleshooting and recovery skills.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and written procedures.
  • Able to monitor AMHS system for abnormality and take action to prevent Fab impact.
  • Able to learn AMHS system configuration to remove and add vehicles/devices during alarm and maintenance needs.
  • Able to understand AMHS system to restart software interface in case of application malfunction.

Requirements:
  • Strong computer skills. (Understand Database will be preference)
  • A strong ability to learn quickly. Needs to be team-oriented, self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and/or experience
  • Demonstrate basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to use electronic and/or test equipment.
  • Able to use tool manuals and follow established processes and procedures.
  • Able to work day or night shift (12-hour shift structure).
  • Need superb attention to detail and follow safety rule.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Associated degree preferred or 3+ years working in similar roles

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range.
