Job description

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Advertising Specialist to own and scale paid media performance across Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect (preferred) for a high-volume RTA furniture eCommerce business.

This role manages a multiple six-figure monthly advertising budget and is directly accountable for marketplace advertising–driven sales performance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing large catalogs in competitive categories and consistently delivering profitable growth on Amazon and Walmart.

This role offers a hybrid arrangement, with an agreed-upon portion of work time spent at our office in Archbold, Ohio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketplace Advertising Management

  • Plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display; DSP experience a plus)
  • Manage and scale Walmart Connect campaigns across search and display
  • Allocate and optimize spend across a multiple six-figure monthly budget to maximize revenue and efficiency
  • Support new SKU launches while maintaining strong performance across core products

Performance & Optimization

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets tied to marketplace advertising
  • Monitor and optimize against key KPIs including revenue, ROAS, ACoS, TACoS, CPA, and conversion rate
  • Identify underperforming spend and reallocate quickly based on data
  • Test and scale new campaign structures, targeting strategies, and platform features

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide clear, concise reporting on marketplace advertising performance
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Communicate results, risks, and opportunities to the Marketing Manager

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with merchandising, content, and creative teams to improve listing quality and conversion
  • Provide feedback on pricing, promotions, and catalog structure to support advertising performance
  • Align advertising strategy with inventory and business priorities

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university PLUS minimum 5 years related experience (5+ years hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads and/or Walmart Connect)
  • Proven experience managing multiple six-figure monthly advertising budgets
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing large product catalogs in competitive marketplaces

  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization
  • Deep understanding of marketplace SEO, catalog optimization, and conversion drivers

PAY SUMMARY

Expected offer range: $74,000 - $98,500/year. The actual salary will be based on factors such as relevant experience and skills. The Max salary listed is not the top of the salary band.
