Job description

**Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED** Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance. ---------- Telework: None Basic Requirements: Security+ Cert 10 years of experience as a System Administrator Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline 5 additional years of experience as a System Administrator may be substituted for a degree Job Description: Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS). Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.

Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines. Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality. Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Apply patches and upgrades. Troubleshoot server issues. Administer customer accounts Deploy monitoring tools.

Deploy applications and tools. Assist with escalated customer tickets. Installation and cabling of equipment Required Experience: Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent) Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines) Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Nifi) Desired Experience: Syslog/NxLog Nagios or other similar monitoring applications Scripting experience (Python/Perl) Salary: $180,000 - $190,000 annually ---------- Excellent benefits package including 25 days PTO, 11 paid holidays, 100% employer-paid healthcare for employees and dependents - available day 1, 8% 401(k) employer match - immediate vesting.
