Northwest Center is hiring Corporate Receptionists!
Northwest Center at Amazon operates as a Social Enterprise where our profits fund our services for children and adults with disabilities. Our Corporate Receptionists work in a unique, fast-paced corporate setting on Amazon's campuses and act as the first point of contact for all visitors and employees while also generating revenue that funds Northwest Center's mission of inclusion.
As a Corporate Receptionist you will engage and craft a positive experience for all guests, as well as support various projects to gain experience and to showcase your creativity and leadership skills. Our Corporate Receptionists are a diverse group that are approachable, customer centric and natural problem solvers coming from a wide range of traditional and non-traditional backgrounds.
While experience as a receptionist is a plus, it's not required as we provide all the training you need! Some familiarity with customer service, administrative work, and Microsoft programs can be helpful, but most importantly, we want a positive team player who's eager to learn and grow.

Location: Bellevue, Redmond & Kirkland (must be able to work in all 3 locations)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:20AM - 3:50PM and 9:35AM - 6:05PM (must have open availability to work both shifts as scheduled)
Wage: Starting Wage: $22.45 per hourFull Wage Range: $22.45 - $27.20 per hour

In this role, you'll get the chance to:
  • Serve as the front desk receptionist across Amazon buildings in the Seattle and Eastside regions, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Greet and check in Amazon employees, guests, clients, and contractors, fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries and support needs, using proactive problem-solving to address issues efficiently.
  • Provide coverage across multiple buildings, adapting to both fast-paced and quieter environments as needed.
  • Stay informed about building activities including events and maintenance to anticipate guest flow and respond to questions effectively.
  • Navigate evolving organizational policies and procedures, adjusting workflows and priorities to align with new directives and best support our customers.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be:

  • Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to move supplies (up to 50 pounds) between Amazon buildings.
  • Able to sit at a desk for long stretches of up to 8 hours and able to move between buildings within a 1.5-mile radius throughout the day.
