Job Title: Student Worker - New Student Programs-Summer Office Assistant

Job Description:

THIS IS A SUMMER POSITION

The Summer Office Assistant is our front line in greeting and serving new students and their families, whether in person, by phone or by email.  Assistant will also support the department by handling general office duties, specific tasks for summer program and various special projects.

Job Functions:
- Answer the phone and assist parents and student with all things New Student Programs and Baylor.  
- Answer emails and assist parents and student with all things New Student Programs and Baylor.  
- Office cleaning tasks 
- Assist with Orientation check-in preparation.
- Assist in manage shuttle pick-ups for Orientation.
- Assist in the preparation of Line Camp Check-in materials.
- Assist with Line Camp check- and set-up.
- Assist with managing of Line Camp List and program materials.
- Assist in managing stand-by list for Line Camp.
- Assist in any NSP projects as needed.

Required Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Professional appearance and speech when interacting with guests.
- Must be available Mid-May to August
- Kindness, care and compassion in interacting with and serving students and families.
- Responsible to follow through and complete tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Relatability with incoming students and their families.
