As Marketplace Associate, you'll own our presence on alternative marketplaces — ensuring smooth product launches, optimized content, and profitable channel growth, while freeing up our Marketplace Manager to focus on D2C and online shops.

Reports to: Multi-channel Marketplace Manager Works with: Brand Managers · Creatives Team eBay · Otto · Kaufland Revenue diversification & growth

As Marketplace Associate, reporting to our Multi-channel Marketplace Manager and working closely with Brand Managers and the Creatives team, you will own our presence on alternative marketplaces — eBay, Otto, Kaufland, and beyond — ensuring smooth product launches, optimized content, and profitable channel growth.

This role frees up our Marketplace Manager to focus on D2C and online shops, while you take full accountability for scaling performance across these marketplaces.

Your work will directly contribute to revenue diversification and growth by ensuring our brands gain visibility, competitiveness, and profitability across European platforms.

What you'll do.1. Product Launch & Content Optimization
  • Launch products on eBay, Otto, and Kaufland, leveraging Amazon listings as a foundation
  • Optimize titles, descriptions, keywords, and images for marketplace-specific algorithms and audiences
  • Manage eBay attributes to maximize algorithmic visibility and ranking
2. Advertising & Growth Initiatives
  • Set up, monitor, and optimize marketplace ad campaigns for visibility, traffic, and conversions
  • Run A/B tests on product content, pricing strategies, and ad creatives to identify what drives the highest visibility and profitability
  • Explore and execute marketing mix promotions (coupons, deals, marketplace events) to drive sales growth
  • Track organic rankings (using tools such as BayGraph) and adjust strategies to maintain and improve visibility
3. Performance & Competitor Tracking
  • Monitor competitor pricing and recommend adjustments to remain competitive
  • Track and report on performance metrics, including organic rankings, ad performance, and P&L for each channel
  • Own channel-level profitability, leveraging tools like SellerBoard for reporting and decision-making
4. Marketplace Account Management
  • Troubleshoot compliance issues and coordinate with marketplace support to resolve listing challenges quickly
  • Identify and report listing hijackers and copycats to protect brand integrity
5. Future Expansion
  • Explore and evaluate potential in new European marketplaces (e.g., Bol.com, Cdiscount) as expansion opportunities

01 Marketplace Experience

Proven experience with at least 2 marketplaces outside of Amazon. eBay, Otto, or Kaufland preferred; Walmart, Bol.com, or other marketplaces are also acceptable.

02 Marketplace Operations

Hands-on experience in marketplace operations, including product listing, advertising, account management, and P&L ownership.

03 A/B Testing

Experience running A/B tests for listings, ads, or pricing is a strong plus.

04 Analytical Mindset

Ability to interpret performance data and optimize strategies based on the results.

05 Detail-Oriented & Structured

Comfortable managing multiple listings and campaigns simultaneously, with a structured, detail-oriented approach.

06 Decision-Making & Autonomy
