We are an Amazon Delivery Service Partner looking for smart, motivated, and hardworking dispatcher in St Rose, La! If you enjoy solving problems and putting smiles on customers faces. Come join our growing family and read on!

Qualifications:

  • Amazon Dispatching: 1 or more years (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to work weekends

Requirements:

  • Prior Amazon dispatching experience
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Use of mapping and GPS programs
  • Ability to provide directions to DAs
  • Ability to manage Fleet issues
  • Basic computer skills (including Google Docs and Sheets)
  • Dispatcher Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

1) Ensure Responsible Delivery - packages are delivered on-time, handled properly and safely

  • Manage opening and /or closing set up/ stand down
  • Monitoring of route timeliness
  • Ability to re-route vehicles when logistically necessary
  • Liaison between Owners, drivers, Amazon staff and Delivery management
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Dispatch order to messengers and drivers
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information for every delivery
  • Manage On the Road accidents and incidents with composure

2) Deliver Clear Communication

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively,
  • Ability to read delivery documents, customer order information, directions, etc. in English
  • Must be able to use your updated cell phone (iPhone, Android etc.) with a data plan for working purposes

3) Provide shift flexibility

  • Ability to work a flexible shift (including early mornings, late evenings and/or weekends)
  • Flexibility to adjust hours to meet operating needs
  • Ability to drive Amazon prime trucks when needed
