Job description

Shopbop is seeking a highly-structured, process-oriented, and customer-focused Catalog Specialist II to own the management of catalog listings and daily operations for Shopbop's FBA business on Amazon. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure accurate product data, optimize catalog quality, and drive operational excellence. The Catalog Specialist will be responsible for New Item Setup of Shopbop items in Amazon's catalog, maintaining listing quality and availability, and managing day-to-day operations.

They will identify, research, and correct catalog data discrepancies and listing defects to maximize catalog listing health and buyability on Amazon. They will monitor metrics and KPIs to drive data cleanup efforts, communicate clearly with stakeholders on process updates and product availability, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement. Success in this role depends on building strong relationships across buying, vendors, catalog, tech, and fulfillment teams.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end catalog operations for Shopbop's FBA business on Amazon, including ASIN creation, product listing optimization, and catalog maintenance
* Own data entry, classification, and quality control processes to ensure FTC-compliant and customer-impacting product information
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot listing issues and implement process improvements
* Develop and maintain documentation for catalog workflows and standard operating procedures
* Analyze catalog performance metrics and identify opportunities for automation and scalability
* Ensure compliance with Amazon's catalog policies and marketplace requirements
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance catalog quality and operational efficiency
A day in the life
As a Catalog Specialist II, you'll start your day reviewing catalog health metrics and prioritizing issues that impact customer experience

You'll work through ASIN creation requests, resolve listing errors, and collaborate with brand partners to ensure accurate product information. Throughout the day, you'll analyze data to identify trends, implement process improvements, and support your team's operational goals. You'll balance tactical execution with strategic thinking, always looking for ways to scale and automate workflows while maintaining the highest quality standards.
