We are in search of a Mail Room Clerk to become an essential part of our team! In this role you will perform alpha-numeric data entry following established business rules. The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain data entry requirements by following established data processing techniques and procedures.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Scan all received mail according to established business rules.
  • Verifies scanned images by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or rescanning image data
  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for document scanning.
  • Receive and Count daily mail delivery.
  • Sort daily mail delivery by P.O. Box and Job type based on established business rules.
  • Hand open mail that is unable to be processed through automated extraction desk.
  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry and document scanning.
  • Review source document batches for accuracy
  • Review payment batches for extra or missing payments.
  • Review completed work for accuracy
  • Store completed documents in designated locations
  • Handle document destruction based on established business rules.
  • Maintain daily logbooks or records of activities and tasks
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

Planning, organizing, and problem solving

Lift mail trays and packages up to 15 lbs.

Attention to details

Good Decision making and Communication skills

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality, informational accuracy, and production. 

Must be able to work flexible schedule as well as overtime and other hours as needed by the unit.

Schedule – 20-25 hours per week - WED and SUN OFF - Tues 7:30am until finish, MON, THURS, FRI, SAT hours are at 6:30am until finished


Pay Rate :

$16.00 dollars/hour
