Adecco is assisting a Fortune 500 client in recruiting for a Retail Allocation Analyst in Dublin, CA. This is a full-time temporary position in Dublin, CA.

Retail Allocation Analyst jobs require candidates to have excellent communication, organization, project management, analytical skills, and must have accuracy and quality of work skills in a high-volume environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below โ€“ Apply Now!

Responsibilities for the Retail Allocation Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Support end of month inventory plan achievement through use of Weekly Sales Curves and IN-Month Trending for assigned Regions, as well as exception store management at the division level.

  • Analyze historical sales performance in development of Weekly Sales Curves to capture Regional patterns and unique store performance

  • Monitor region and store inventory position in relation to sales trends, with future opportunity to analyze at lower hierarchy levels

  • Support New Store and/or Going Out of Business processes

  • Execute and maintain Excel based reports/tools

  • Collaborate with Planning partners to resolve issues that address plan achievement

  • Identify issues impacting inventory plan achievement and develop recommendations for improvement

  • Identify and conduct high level analytics to support business needs

  • Manage and drive allocation automation to support timely receipt processing

  • Drive timely and effective communication with cross-functional business partners to inform/recommend allocation strategies and results

  • Provide weekly communication to Allocation leadership of results and inventory opportunities/risks, providing recommended action needed to support changing trends

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for a Retail Allocation Analyst:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of related experience in Planning and/or Allocation

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills

  • Retail Math

  • Retail software experience, a plus (JDA or Other Allocation Software)

  • Ability to independently analyze data sets to solve problems and summarize recommendations
