Job description

Amentum is seeking a Mid Targeting Analyst to support our USSPACECOM program in Huntsville, AL. *Contingent*
Duties:
  • Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations.
  • Performs, documents, and tracks database nominations, creates and updates the database, and upload targeting materials (TMs) into databases to include relevant space / counter-space data into the Modernized Integrated Data Base (MIDB) in a format that can interface with targeting processes and tools to include the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT) on a weekly basis.
  • Develops daily target nomination packets, create database records, and database target intelligence products. The Targeting Analyst will produce all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assist with combat assessment requirements.
  • Conducts monthly collateral damage estimation, list management, and target strategy development and provide joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
  • Desired education/training: successful completion of in-resident Joint Targeting course, the Geospatial Imagery / Targeting Analyst course, or the Air Operation Center Course.

Requirements:
  • Must possess a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
  • 8 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category with at least four years of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 12 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

$120,000 - $130,000
