UPS is currently hiring a Buildings and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanic/Electrician. This position is responsible for maintenance activities performed to keep a UPS package handling facility operating efficiently and effectively. The work is fast-paced and requires routine interaction with other hub employees. Ideal candidates must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, in a 24 x 7 operation. The candidate is required to have a strong electrical background and must successfully complete both electrical and mechanical assessments as part of the hiring process.
  • Starting Pay: $39.30/Hr.
  • After 1 Year: $47.23/Hr.
  • Pension plan is included on top of pay

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Requirements:

  • Ability to receive and give instruction over radio in an industrial environment
