Night Shift 10PM - 6AM

Bradford Airport Logistics is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Senior Operations Supervisor - Transport CDL to work night shift at our DFW Central Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC), serving Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). We're counting on you to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant-leading operation of the CRDC transportation fleet and distribution activities. This critical role, you will ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company, and customer requirements while maintaining exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and safety performance.

Requirements for the Senior Operations Supervisor - Transport CDL:

  • Associate's degree is required in logistics, transportation management, supply chain management or business administration
  • Minimum 3 years of directly related progressive experience in fleet management, transportation operations, logistics, distribution or related field.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Hold and maintain a current Class A Commercial Driver's license (CDL).
  • Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and transportation compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, email, databases, Internet); ability to execute action plans; detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to pass TSA background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.

Responsibilities as the Senior Operations Supervisor - Transport CDL will be:

  • Lead, supervise, and develop transportation and distribution team members, providing coaching, training, performance management, and ongoing support to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee daily transportation operations, including driver scheduling, fleet utilization, route planning, and equipment assignments, ensuring efficient and timely service to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations by maintaining driver qualification files, vehicle records, safety documentation, certifications, and required training programs.
  • Manage fleet maintenance and asset performance by coordinating inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, registrations, permits, and replacement planning to maximize reliability and operational readiness.
  • Direct warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, staging, inventory movement, and deliveries, while monitoring performance metrics, investigating incidents, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous operational improvement.
