Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Configuring new aircraft data into the computerized maintenance tracking systems.
• Auditing and maintaining configuration in the computerized maintenance tracking system for airframe, engines, Auxiliary Power Unit (APUs) and landing gear assemblies.
• Assisting with auditing and organizing airframe, power plant, landing gears, components and maintenance documentation for aircraft acquisition, and leases.
• Auditing and updating time limited components, including verifying compliance of hard time components.
• Auditing and updating airworthiness directives and modification documents in the
• Computerized maintenance tracking system, including resetting accomplished task for repetitive inspection.
• Verifying the accuracy and completeness of computer output reports against data input of maintenance documents processed daily, including the Mod Accomplished Report.
• Reviewing engineering documents, including AD documents for accuracy and completeness, and updating work accomplished in the computerized maintenance tracking system.
• Reviewing the Mod Accomplished Report, Daily Inputs, Life Limited Part Summaries and applicable technical and operational documentation for Company aircraft, engines, and related parts.
• Creates and updates Specification Sheets for aircraft and engines as necessary.
• Scans, manage, maintain technical and trace documents in the company database.
• All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
• Aviation experience with three years' experience with aircraft records preferred, however not required.
Skills and Abilities:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Typing skills must be at least 35 wpm.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
Physical Requirements:
• May occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
