Job description

The Scheduler is responsible for preparing, developing, monitoring, analyzing, adjusting, communicating and translating the Schedule / Capacity Charts for multiple locations in order to maximize the utilization of resources such as labor, tools, materials and facilities. The Scheduler will also collaborate with planners and other disciplines such as avionics and interiors to support the development of the overall project. Supports incoming aircraft work scope planning.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Prepares, maintains and distributes Schedule and performs acceptability analysis based on current scheduling requirements and availability of resources, including but not limited to tools, facility capacity, labor, materials, engineering up to 80% of facility capacity.
  • Utilizes flow charts to review potential schedule conflicts due to capacity constraints.
  • Develops and recommends processes, and flowcharts to ensure optimal utilization of resources to perform aircraft maintenance.
  • Monitors and revises standard resource requirements, such as tooling, technical data, labor hours and materials, for tasks associated with maintenance activities
  • Communicates with sales and quoting, along with various other departments to support customer needs.
  • Consistently monitors work in progress (WIP) and updates Master Schedule accordingly.
  • Identifies schedule conflicts and notifies Sales department as required to resolve these issues.
  • Defines content, capacity and capabilities of work centers.
  • Supports development and application of time standards of tasks.
  • Provides data input, including but not limited to work scope, span, time and arrival and delivery dates, to support preparation of sales proposals.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted with years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education = 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with Scheduling/Planning, working in a manufacturing, production or aviation environment.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to use strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create partnerships, and resolve conflict between work groups.
  • Must be proficient with Corridor, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • Must be able to function throughout the total facility with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation for this position typically falls between $60,000- $80,000 annually This position is eligible for tech leveling to reflect varying levels of experience. This position is eligible for straight time overtime and relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
