Duration: 12 Months

What you can expect:
As the IT PMO (Project Management Office) Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and governing enterprise IT projects and assigned programs to ensure delivery of approved scope, schedule, budget and quality outcomes.
Operating within a framework of excellence, collaboration, and innovation, you will apply PMO standards and methodologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and focus areas. This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to the organization’s mission by enabling reliable and compliant IT delivery.
Planned work hours/time zone: Eastern, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Unplanned work hours anticipated: Nights and weekends as needed for project delivery and deployments.
Sit or stand, type, mouse, and talk for most of the workday.
Fluently read, write, and verbally communicate in English
*This role will be the 2nd position focused on AI and Data Strategy Implementation. Looking for a candidate who can identify and manage the use cases of AI by bringing in the right functional leaders together and organizing the work to bring out AI Features and Processes. Must have great communication skills, agile thinking, organizational skills and be able to communicate complex problems in a simplified manner. Project governance experience is a plus.

Strategic Leadership:
Execute projects in alignment with established PMO strategies, policies, and procedures.
Provide project-level leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Champion a culture of delivery excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within assigned projects and IT PMO.
Project Program Management:
Manage and govern large, complex IT projects and assigned programs in accordance with PMO standards.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Monitor project progress, dependencies, resource usage, and financial performance; identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues as needed.
Resolve project-related issues and risks and obtain alignment between stakeholders.
Ensure that IT projects are delivered on time, within the approved budget, and in compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain effective working relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
Provide clear, concise status reporting, risk visibility, and delivery recommendations to stakeholders and sponsors.
Facilitate regular project communication, governance reviews, and decision forums.
Resource Management and Talent Development:
Lead cross-functional, matrixed project teams, assigning work and tracking delivery commitments.
Coordinate resource needs and timing with functional managers.
Support the development of less experienced project team members through guidance and best-practice knowledge sharing.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:
Apply and adhere to established PMO project management methodologies and quality controls.
Ensure required project documentation and artifacts are maintained and audit-ready.
Participate in post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities

Preferred background:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field and Master’s degree.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Experience in healthcare, medical devices, biotech, or regulated environments.
Travel expectations:
Over the course of a normal year, you can expect up to 15% travel, domestic and/or international.
