SciTecΒ is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee execution of complex,Β mission-critical software systems within a defense environment. This roleΒ is responsible forΒ ensuring that end-to-end design, development, system integration, verification, andΒ validation efforts are executed with rigor, aligned to programΒ objectives, and delivered onΒ schedule and within budget.Β 

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software-intensive defenseΒ programs, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, customers, primes, andΒ subcontractors; manage cost, schedule, and risk; and drive execution in a fast-paced,Β multi-stakeholderΒ environment.Β 

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and execution of design, development,Β integrationΒ and test activitiesΒ across the program lifecycleΒ 
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program riskΒ 
  • Drive change management activities, including analysis orΒ impactsΒ to scope, schedule, and costΒ 
  • Support technical leadership in requirements management, roadmap alignment, andΒ execution planningΒ 
  • Communicate customer information, including status updates, schedule changes, customer needs, and evolving requirements effectively to the technical staff and leadershipΒ 
  • Prepare and deliver program status reports, translating technical progress intoΒ actionable insights for leadership and customersΒ 
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including government customers, subcontractors,Β and internal leadershipΒ 
  • Manage subcontractors and external partnersΒ 
  • IdentifyΒ and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and programΒ execution qualityΒ 
  • Manage overall program financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting,Β variance analysis, and costcontrol initiativesΒ 
  • Β Support program reviews, demonstrations, and external engagementsΒ 
  • Support multiple customer stakeholders simultaneouslyΒ

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred with a STEM or Business focusΒ 
  • 15+ years of professional experience in software development project managementΒ 
  • Experience managing large, complex software or systems integration programsΒ 
  • Experience with resource planning and staffing across multi-disciplinary teamsΒ 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for business purposes as assignedΒ 
  • Strong problem-solving skills in complex, technical environmentsΒ 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsΒ 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsΒ 
  • Active DoD security clearanceΒ

The pay range for this position is $167,000 to $213,000 per year.
