Ai Operations information

How does an AI Operations professional typically collaborate with data scientists and IT teams?

AI Operations professionals often act as a bridge between data science teams, who develop machine learning models, and IT teams, who manage infrastructure. They work closely to ensure models are deployed smoothly, monitored for performance, and integrated into production environments. Regular communication and troubleshooting are essential, as AI Ops professionals must understand both the technical requirements of the models and the operational constraints of the systems. This collaborative approach helps maintain reliability and scalability of AI solutions in a business setting.

What is a $900000 AI job?

A $900,000 AI job typically refers to a high-level position in artificial intelligence, such as AI executive roles, senior data scientists, or AI research directors, often requiring advanced skills in machine learning, deep learning, and programming. These roles usually involve leadership, strategic planning, and extensive experience, and they may be found in large tech companies or specialized AI firms.

What do AI operations do?

AI operations involve managing and maintaining AI systems to ensure their reliable performance, including tasks like deploying models, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflows. Professionals in this field often use tools such as cloud platforms and automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery of AI solutions.

Is AI a high paying job?

AI operations roles are generally well-paid due to the specialized skills required, such as knowledge of machine learning, data analysis, and cloud platforms. Salaries vary based on experience, location, and company size but tend to be higher than average for tech roles, especially for those with advanced certifications or expertise in AI tools.

Which 3 jobs will survive AI?

AI operations professionals, data scientists, and cybersecurity specialists are likely to continue thriving as their roles involve complex problem-solving, strategic decision-making, and safeguarding systems that are difficult to fully automate. These jobs require advanced technical skills, critical thinking, and adaptability to evolving technologies, making them more resilient to AI automation.

What are AI Operations?

AI Operations, often referred to as AIOps, is the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to automate and enhance IT operations. It involves analyzing large volumes of data generated by IT systems to detect issues, predict outages, and automate responses. AIOps helps organizations improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and quickly resolve problems by providing actionable insights and automating repetitive tasks. This approach is increasingly important as IT environments become more complex and data-driven.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an AI Operations professional, and why are they important?

To thrive in AI Operations, you need a strong background in computer science, data analytics, and machine learning, often supported by a degree in a related field. Familiarity with tools like Python, TensorFlow, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and experience with AI/ML monitoring systems is essential. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are key soft skills for managing incidents and collaborating with cross-functional teams. These skills ensure the smooth deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI systems, which are vital for operational reliability and business success.

What is the difference between Ai Operations vs Data Scientist?

AI Operations Lead

Broccoli AI

San Francisco, CA • On-site

$150K - $200K/yr

Full-time

Job description

About Broccoli AI
Broccoli AI is building the AI operating system for home service businesses.
We work with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors - the people who keep homes running - and we replace fragmented tools and manual workflows with AI agents that actually do the work.
Our AI assistants answer phones, book jobs, follow up with customers, and drive revenue - fully integrated into systems like ServiceTitan.
We started by going door-to-door, meeting 100+ contractors, and understanding how these businesses actually run. That shaped everything we've built. Today:
  • Hundreds of contractors use Broccoli to run their front office
  • We've grown from $0 → millions in ARR in under a year
  • We're trusted by both single-location operators and the largest PE-backed roll-ups
  • Raised $25M+ from Khosla Ventures and YC

The Role
We are hiring an AI Operations Lead to build the internal systems that enable Broccoli to scale. As we 5x headcount in 2026, leverage is everything: the dashboards, tools, and AI agents that make every person on the team meaningfully more effective.
AI-first is how we operate. Before we hire, write a runbook, or build a process, we ask whether an agent could own it instead. You will be the person who answers that question and ships the agent.
You will sit on the Strategy & Ops team and own a portfolio of internal builds: dashboards that surface the right metrics to the right people, internal tools that eliminate manual work, and AI agents that act as force multipliers across sales, CS, and operations (an assistant sales agent that drafts follow-ups and surfaces account intel, an assistant CSM agent that flags churn risk and preps QBRs, and more).
What You'll Do
• Build internal dashboards that give every team clear visibility into the metrics that matter.
• Design and ship AI agents that automate repetitive work across sales, CS, and operations.
• Develop internal tools and workflows that remove bottlenecks as we scale.
• Partner with team leads to identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities and prioritize ruthlessly.
• Set up the evaluation, monitoring, and iteration loops that keep AI agents reliable in production.
• Help define how Broccoli runs internally as the company grows.
What We're Looking For
• Builder background: technical BizOps, forward deployed engineer, software engineer with strong product sense, or similar.
• AI-native. You lean heavily on Claude (Cowork, Code, or both) in your daily work to move faster: automating analysis, drafting workflows, and handing off anything that doesn't need a human.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs and agents (production work or substantial side projects both count).
• Strategic instincts. You can look at how a team operates and identify where automation creates real leverage versus where it will be a distraction.
• High agency and bias to action.
• Excited to work in person in San Francisco.
• Bonus: prior experience at a high-growth startup, past founder, strategy consulting before moving into building, or deploying AI agents in production.
Broccoli is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practice laws.
