Job description

Stealth Startup – legal AI

Role: CTO

Location: NYC – hybrid schedule 3 days/week onsite

Reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking to hire a CTO to accelerate product development. The role will require being hands on with the codebase about 25-30% of the time while helping to grow the team from 2 – 10 engineers over the next year. If you love working on 0→1 products, enjoy solving hard problems, and want to build cool stuff with smart people then please apply.

Ideal qualifications:

·       strong product background. Ideally in B2B2C (B2B is okay too)

·       experience in big tech and has led teams OR background as a VP of Engineering/CTO in a Series A/B/C who has demonstrated the ability to scale

·       great communicator to both technical staff and non-technical customers & constituents

·       security focused/minded. We do not have a CISO yet so the CTO will assume some of those responsibilities initially

·       AI tools like v0 and Cursor AI

Compensation:
