๐Ÿš€ Role Overview


The SAP Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation, rollout, and optimization initiatives. You will align Bristlecone's technical delivery team with client leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with global supply chain templates. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience navigating SAP Activate methodology and SAP S/4HANA environments.


Location: - While our client is based in Dallas, TX, we are open to hiring candidates located in either the Dallas area or the Bay Area, CA. Travel to the customer site is required during key project milestones like the Explore and Testing phases.


๐ŸŽฏ Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Delivery Governance: Lead all phases of the project lifecycle using SAP Activate or ASAP methodologies, including blueprinting, realization, testing, and final preparation.
  • SAP EWM Alignment: Scope, plan, and manage the technical and functional deployment of SAP EWM solutions, including inbound/outbound processing, internal movements, and warehouse automation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between Bristlecone consulting teams, client IT directors, and warehouse operations stakeholders.
  • Resource & Budget Control: Manage project financial health, resource allocation schedules, milestone sign-offs, and formal change requests.
  • Risk & Integration Mitigation: Proactively manage project risks, specifically focusing on integration points between SAP EWM, SAP TM (Transportation Management), and SAP ERP/S/4HANA.


Required Qualifications

  • SAP Experience: Minimum 8โ€“10 years of experience managing enterprise-level SAP implementations, with at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations dedicated to SAP EWM or SAP WM.
  • Methodology Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and Agile project management frameworks.
  • Technical Ecosystem: Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations, decentralized EWM architectures, or embedded EWM environments.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or standard SAP Project Manager certifications are highly required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within a global IT consulting or systems integration firm.
  • Background in integrating SAP EWM with Material Flow Systems (MFS), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), or third-party logistics (3PL) applications.
  • Active presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area for local client facetime.
