Job description

Job Title: Senior Physical Security Infrastructure Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Physical Security Infrastructure Manager to lead the end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise-wide physical security projects. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of security infrastructure-from access control and video surveillance to perimeter protection and supporting low-voltage systems.
This is a senior-level role that balances technical systems expertise with disciplined construction management. You will serve as the primary leader for on-site operations, managing subcontractors, coordinating with general contractors, and ensuring that our security installations are delivered with high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to project scope, budget, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
• Project Lifecycle Management: Establish project plans, resource allocations, and schedules. Maintain rigorous project governance by utilizing structured methodologies for project charters, risk logs, and communication plans.
• Technical Oversight: Lead the installation of integrated security systems, including CCTV, electronic access control, and intrusion detection. Validate design requirements through detailed site assessments.
• Field Leadership: Manage the performance of technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure all work adheres to technical specifications, construction drawings, and industry-standard wiring diagrams.
Quality Control & Stakeholder Management
• Site Governance: Maintain a constant presence on-site to ensure safety compliance and quality workmanship. Conduct system testing, commissioning, and final sign-off.
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track labor hours, and oversee material procurement. Proactively manage scope changes and formalize change order documentation.
• Communication Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, IT partners, and external vendors. Provide structured status updates, dashboards, and reporting that clearly articulate project health.
Risk & Compliance
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project barriers and maintain risk/issue logs. Mitigate risks through disciplined planning and rapid issue resolution.
• Documentation: Ensure all project closeout packages, including "as-built" documentation and commissioning reports, are accurate and complete.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing large-scale physical security or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection hardware/software.
• Construction Acumen: Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, technical specifications, and electrical schematics.
• Project Governance: Proven experience applying disciplined project management processes to maintain budget, schedule, and quality baselines.
• Logistics: Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites as required.
Preferred Attributes
• Professional Certifications: PMP, PSP, CPP, or manufacturer-specific security certifications.
Construction Management: Background in coordinating trades, construction sequencing, and working within general contractor environments.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with OSHA standards and job site compliance requirements.
