As a Principal Program Manager, you will play a key role connecting Lonza, our customers, and patients. You will lead complex, late-phase and commercial programs, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as a trusted customer partner while driving operational excellence across a highly matrixed organization. This is a site-based role that enables close collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you will do
  • Lead complex customer programs from development through commercialization

  • Act as the primary interface between customers and Lonza across the program lifecycle

  • Drive cross-functional teams to deliver quality, timeline, and financial objectives

  • Manage program financials, including forecasting, invoicing, and revenue recognition

  • Ensure compliance with PPM CoE standards and maintain accurate Planview data

  • Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when required

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, including KPI tracking and continuous improvement

What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience managing complex programs in biotech, pharma, or CDMO environments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and program financials
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage risk and complexity
  • Experience in New Product Introduction, including transitioning products from clinical development through commercialization
