Job description

Summary: RADISE International, LC (RADISE) is looking for an experienced Lab Technician for Soil and Construction Material Testing Lab. RADISE provides benefits and overtime pay.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain samples, complete testing, record results, enter them into the computer, submit reports and talk with other internal and external stakeholder to coordinate the work.
  • Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To Obtain samples/specimens of concrete, soils, aggregates, asphalt from work sites,
  • Perform laboratory tests on the samples collected. Following work and testing procedures.
  • Communicate/ report lab test results to all. Enter test results data into computer. Maintain lab testing equipment: cleaning, repairs, calibration, set up.
  • Familiar with ASTM, FDOT and AASHTO testing standards
  • Familiar and participate in lab accreditation & Audits
  • Adhere to strict safety standards

Skills/Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED
  • 5+ years material testing (field or lab).
  • Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to lift samples, at times up to 75+ pounds.
  • Pass drug and background screening tests

Qualifications

ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1

OR

ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician

AND

Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician Level 1


Minimum Certification required:

  • ACI Field Concrete Level 1
  • ACI Concrete Lab Level 1
