Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. We specialize in connecting local employers with local talent. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for a testing center in Glendora.



JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls.
  • Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Respond to client and customer emails and inquiries.
  • Coordinate communication with clients and customers.
  • Prepare documents and employee files.
  • Administer exams and assist test takers as needed.
  • Assist with payroll and cash handling duties.
  • Perform filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
  • Organize office records and maintain accurate files.
  • Use Microsoft Office daily (Outloock, Excel, OneNote, etc.).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
  • Open the office each morning and close at the end of the day.
  • Support daily administrative and clerical operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
  • Interest in Human Resources or Business preferred.
  • 2+ years of receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and OneNote.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.


Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $18 -$20/hour (Depending on experience)
