Job Description:

This experienced Account Manager (AM) role is responsible for sales activity and customer support in the U.S. Federal Civilian region; specifically including the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services. The AM will be responsible for achieving or exceeding annual revenue quotas and ensuring that all HPE sales and delivery activity is run efficiently and effectively. The AM will also be responsible for constructing and executing long-term account strategies and plans; ensuring HPE growth is predictable, disciplined and significant; and successfully teaming with other Account Managers in the assigned vertical. AM duties will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Construction of an Annual Business Plan Focused on Near and Long-Term Sales Opportunities to include Major Programs of Record, Network Refresh and Upgrades, etc.
Establish and Nurture Relationships with Key Technical, Operational, Acquisition and Business Executives and Decision Makers
Represent the Most Pressing Technical, Mission and Business Requirements to Federal and Corporate Leadership
Work in Synchronization with the Greater Federal Civilian Extended Team (Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Channels, etc.) on All HPE Activity
Achieve, or Exceed, an Annual Revenue Objective

Qualifications:
8+ Years of Sales Experience with Federal Healthcare Agencies or Across a Complex Enterprise Environment
Combination of Product and Services Sales in Networking, Software or Compute Fields (Knowledge of HPE Products Preferable)
Demonstrable Track Record of Growing Business with Federal Agencies or within a Complex Enterprise Environment
Knowledge of Drivers, Trends, Requirements, and Operations Across U.S. Government Environments (Healthcare Agencies Preferable)
Strong and Deep Relationships with Key Technical, Business and Operational Leaders within U.S. Government Environments (Healthcare Agencies Preferable)
Ability to Obtain a Security Clearance (Active Secret or Top Secret/SCI Clearance Preferable)
Excellent Verbal and Writing Skills with Demonstrated Leadership Ability
