The Hägglunds Large Hydraulic Drives product line is an integrated part of Bosch Rexroth. Job Description
The Aftermarket Sales Specialist is responsible for representing and driving the aftersales efforts of Hägglunds Large Hydraulic Drive (LHD) products and services to our customers in the Western half of USA. The Aftermarket Sales Specialist supports sales engineers by focusing on engagement with end user accounts to promote and increase sales of services including start-ups, troubleshooting, motor and pump repairs, preventive maintenance agreements, fitness checks and identifying potential drive system and drive motor upgrades as well as retrofit opportunities.
Strong communication skills and the desire to present the value of Hägglunds Aftermarket solutions to customers is key in this role. The Aftermarket Sales Specialist will interact constantly with customers and perform presentations of proposed solutions and develop quotations to meet customers service and aftermarket needs.
This position will cover the states of CA, NV, AZ, UT, CO, OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, ND, SD, NE, KS, IA, MO, AR, LA, OK, NM, & TX, and prefer candidate to to be based in Denver, CO.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Develop Aftermarket Sales for Hägglunds direct hydraulic drive products and solutions for fitness check, start-ups, service, repair, and preventive maintenance agreements
  • Identify potential retrofit or upgrades for legacy Hägglunds units, Gearbox Drives, or competitor low speed high torque motors, and work with responsible Sales Engineer to specify correct solution to offer customer.
  • Develop and implement marketing ideas to improve aftermarket awareness of Hägglunds.
  • Initiate and develop contact with key and target end user customers to establish strong long-term relationships.
  • Prepare & present technical and commercial quotations to customers for aftermarket services within the Hägglunds Large Hydraulic Drives business unit.
  • Support the Bosch Rexroth Service & Quality departments on quality and field related warranty issues.
  • Maintain strong bond with Aftermarket Sales counterparts in Sweden, using their support to grow business in Western USA region.

Key performance indicators:
  1. # of newly generated PM agreements, Fitness checks, and start-ups
  2. lead generation for upgrades/retrofits (with handover to or in cooperation with Sales Engineers when it comes to specifying and quoting a solution).

Qualifications
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Fluid Power or related technical field with minimum 5 years of experience in a field sales or field service position, alternately a Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing with at least 5 years of relevant sales experience in the industrial field would be considered.
  • Strong time management skills to handle a consistently high volume of sales activities, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to value sell Hägglunds Aftermarket products and solutions to direct accounts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Personal computer knowledge: SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable working with MS Excel spreadsheets, and preparing customer presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel >50% of time to customer locations, other Bosch Rexroth sites, and trade fairs.
  • Willingness to comply with customer safety training rules, and wear required personal protection equipment (PPE) during customer site visits as required.
