Location: Mendham, New Jersey
Starting Date: This role follows the school district calendar for the 2026-2027 school year
Hours:
  • After Care Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm EST
Job Description:
Looking for a rewarding part-time job where you can inspire, mentor, and have fun every day? At Apollo After School, we believe the hours after school are some of the most important in a child's day. That's why we're looking for energetic, caring, and dependable individuals who are passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
Whether you're an aspiring teacher, college student, retired educator, paraprofessional, coach, artist, or simply someone who enjoys working with children, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do:
    • Supervise and ensure the safety of students.
    • Lead engaging games, STEM, arts & crafts, sports, and enrichment activities.
    • Help create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment.
    • Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff.
    • Encourage teamwork, creativity, confidence, and respect.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
    • Previous experience working with children in schools, camps, childcare centers, tutoring programs, sports, enrichment programs, or youth organizations is highly preferred.
    • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
    • Training in relevant childcare subjects

    • Applicants must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
