Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and experienced, afterschool caregiver to provide a safe and fun extension of school for our kids. As an Aftercare Instructor you will assist students individually and in small groups.
The keys to success in this position, is to be an enthusiastic, energetic, fun-loving and patient person, with a passion for child development and care.
Responsibilities:
  • Creating a nurturing and enriching learning environment
  • Looking after the basic needs of the children under care
  • Helping students with homework
  • Participating in Indoor and Outdoor fun activities
  • Communicate with parents and co-workers
  • Maintain a sanitary and orderly environment
  • Maintain professional attitude while treating all children with care and compassion

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with kids preferred
  • Available to work 2:30 - 6:30 Shift
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in a childcare setting
  • Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm at all times
  • Solid working knowledge of childhood development
  • Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Patient, understanding, and reliable
