The Role

As a Senior Affiliate Manager, you will be working on the Paid Media team and managing a portfolio of client accounts as their main point of contact. You will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our clients' affiliate marketing programs. Reporting into the Director of Affiliate, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing affiliate strategies to maximize revenue, expand partner networks, and enhance brand visibility.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $77,000 - $95,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state's salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
 
*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions
**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be
  • Managing a portfolio of assigned client accounts as the main point of contact, providing proactive and consistent client outreach and communication

  • Interfacing with relevant affiliate networks to coordinate day-to-day aspects of program management and engaging in regular communication with affiliates to foster growth

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate new affiliate partners that align with client objectives and unlock incremental growth opportunities

  • Representing clients with publishers requiring higher-touch moments of nurturing

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, proactively identifying business challenges, growth opportunities, and actionable recommendations

  • Develop and execute client-specific strategies and objectives focused on driving sustainable growth, including collecting, assessing, and managing promotional offers and links with a high degree of accuracy 

  • Negotiate and secure strategic placements and partnership opportunities for clients

  • Monitor client budgets, commissions, and investment levels to ensure efficient allocation of spend and alignment with performance goals 

  • Coordinate weekly or bi-weekly calls with clients, as applicable 

  • Assessing competitive landscape and providing recommendations, opportunities, suggestions, and education to clients and internal teams

  • Leading the tactical execution of broader affiliate channel integration and cross-channel partnership strategies

  • Analyze regular and ad hoc reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that drive affiliate program growth and optimization

  • Compiling and delivering weekly reporting and insights

  • Developing a monthly executive summary outlining KPI performance by partner and funnel, if required

  • Utilizing existing QBR templates to compile and deliver quarterly updates based on timelines 

  • Providing financial forecasting when necessary

  • Test and learn new tactics and strategies, sharing findings with the Affiliate Marketing department and within thought-leadership materials 

  • Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to enhance program analysis, surface actionable insights, and improve the efficiency and quality of client deliverables 

You Must Have
  • 3-5 years of experience with affiliate marketing within an agency or in-house environment

  • An Associates or Bachelors degree in marketing/communications or relevant experience

  • The ability to use insights data, partner performance, and key trends to inform the development of strategies and plans

  • Strong knowledge with Affiliate network such as Impact and CJ, Affluent, Google Analytics, Excel (pivot tables/complex formulas) and the ability to extract trends from a large pool of data

  • The knack to think on your feet and stay organized

  • Strong direct client day-to-day management experience, including being able to execute a program from launch set up to program management and detailed reporting

  • The ability to work with limited resources/supervision on multiple campaigns with tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including strong client presentation skills

  • Proficient knowledge of influencer marketing and SEO is a plus
