Our client, a Metal Fabrication Manufacturer located in Pompano Beach, FL. They are an established manufacturer with an excellent reputation and offers excellent long term growth potential and stability.


The ideal candidate would have Sheet Metal Fabrication experience and estimating.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Sheet Metal Fabrication Procesess
  • Experience with reading Blue Prints
  • CNC Machining - Understand what it takes to make a part from blue print readings
  • Experience of knowledge of Cycle times, Materials Costs
  • Knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication Process to be able to build accurate costs for estimating
  • This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who can interpret engineering requirements, evaluate manufacturing processes, and develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for parts and assemblies in the aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing industries
  • Familiarity with industry specs, special processes, and supplier certification requirements
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM tools
  • Understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, or mechanical manufacturing processes
  • Experience with quoting systems, ERP/MRP systems, or production planning tool


Responsibilities

  • Analyze drawings, models, Statements of Work, and contract requirements
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and lead-time projections for new and existing parts
  • Identify materials, processes, and qualified suppliers per industry specifications
  • Prepare and present proposals to internal teams and customers
  • Support contract negotiation efforts with vendors and customers
  • Create or review routers, budgets, and process plans to transition estimates into production
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, QC, and Production to validate manufacturability and requirements
  • Assist with prototype development and early-stage design/manufacturing reviews
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and models
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and customers
  • Production estimating & cost analysis
