  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with BART and other partner agencies.
  • Support reviews of project deliverables to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with program objectives.
  • Provide oversight of consultant and contractor activities and help resolve project challenges.
  • Manage staff assignments, team workflows, and task organization for rail/transit contracts.
  • Support proposal development and pursuit planning for rail/transit professional services.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid‑level staff to support their professional growth and effective project execution.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with contractors, consultants, and technical teams to ensure well‑coordinated project outcomes.

  • Prior experience working on BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) projects is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, project management, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project leadership, team coordination, client service, and program support for large, complext transportation/transit initiatives.
  • Experience working with public agencies and navigating formal project delivery processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize complex workflows and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience tracking budgets, schedules, and project performance metrics.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to support resolution of delivery challenges.
  • Ability to provide quality oversight across project management or program management tasks.
