Vice President, Regional Advisory Consultant

Summary:

The VP, Regional Advisory Consultant will be responsible for driving sales strategy and financial planning adoption for a defined region of advisors. This role will combine internal and field-based sales strategy with the role requiring face-to-face interactions focused on driving adoption of the firm's advisory platform (the Wealth Management Platform). The VP, Regional Advisory Consultant will report to the VP, Advisory Consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Educating and promoting the benefits of fee-based business, facilitating adoption of the firm's advisory technology, introducing appropriate investment managers based on the client's needs, and helping those advisors grow their overall advisory businesses. While 1:1 meeting will be the majority of interactions, presenting to sizable groups of advisors will be expected.

  • Executing a virtual regional strategy focused on managing the region's top opportunities and maintaining a fluid sales pipeline. The Regional Consultant will work closely with their internal counterpart to efficiently manage sales strategy for their region.

  • Drive impactful interactions and events - inviting the right advisors, creating, and delivering content, and managing appropriate meeting follow-up. Partner with various investment management companies to deliver collateral, share leads, and co-present on specific content.

  • Introduce and support advisors on various product offerings - MF/ ETF models, customized SMA models, tax services and private client solutions.

  • Review and analyze regional reports to prioritize existing and new prospects. Partner with internal consultant on converting sales leads into opportunities.

  • Utilization of key reports and data to establish goals and opportunities for advisors.

  • Schedule individual 1:1 and regional meetings for your region.

  • Engaged with Marketing, Product, Platform, and Research teams to share content, collateral, and upcoming strategy with the field.

  • Interactions will be expected to be logged in firm's CRM system.

Education Requirements:

  • Master's Degree preferred, bachelor's degree from accredited university in Economics, Finance, Business, or related subjects required.

Basic Requirements:

  • Series 7 required.

  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

  • 5+ years in a similar role.

  • Driven and goal-oriented nature and enthusiastic sales-focused personality.

  • Extensive knowledge of advisory platforms, key wealth management concepts, investment strategies.

  • Ability to introduce a complex subject matter in clear articulate fashion.

  • Ability to work independently with high level of organization and time management skills.

  • Deep experience working directly with financial advisors.

  • Familiarity with using a client relationship management program.

Preferred Requirements:

  • CFP or CIMA certification
