Job Description
The Advertising Assistant is responsible for creating efficiencies and overseeing the day-to-day business requirements related to the production of promotional signage. This position engages and maintains the relationship with our agency partner and manages the budget for this department.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall coordination of promotional signage, from conception through to approval and execution
  • Manage all requests, invoicing, deliveries, and reconciliation for the department; use database to enter and track project progress working with the team to ensure accuracy.
  • Entry and tracking of promotions in promo database, collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of content across programs (flyer/signage).
  • Review creative deliverables with teams to ensure creative is on-brand, integrated, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and review creative deliverables to ensure details are documented and implemented on time.
  • Support and contribute to a safe work environment by following all workplace policies, regulations, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in an Advertising/Marketing retail environment (Operational or Store Support capabilities)
  • Post-Secondary or Bachelor's degree in media, advertising, marketing or related field
  • Ability to successfully work in both an independent and team environment
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and exceptional time management skills
  • Good decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Previous production execution experience
