In addition to packaging and branding, this position plays a key role in developing advertising campaigns, providing art direction, designing catalogs and editorial materials, and ensuring production-ready artwork that meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and manufacturability. Essential ResponsibilitiesPackaging Design & Brand Development
  • Lead the creative development of cosmetic packaging from concept through final production.
  • Design and maintain packaging systems that reflect each brand's identity and market positioning.
  • Develop innovative visual concepts for new product launches, line extensions, and packaging refreshes.
  • Create production-ready artwork while ensuring consistency, functionality, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all packaging and consumer-facing materials.

Advertising Design & Art Direction
  • Develop advertising campaigns and key visual concepts across print, digital, retail, and social media.
  • Lead the creative direction for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Translate marketing strategies into compelling visual communications.
  • Provide art direction for photography, product imagery, lifestyle visuals, and campaign assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all creative executions align with brand objectives.

Brand Experience (BX)
  • Design retail displays, POP materials, merchandising graphics, promotional assets, and customer-facing visual communications.
  • Support in-store and retail marketing initiatives by developing impactful brand experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Experience team to maintain consistent visual storytelling across all retail environments.

Catalog & Editorial Design
  • Design, organize, and maintain corporate product catalogs and brand presentation materials.
  • Develop editorial layouts, product brochures, lookbooks, sales materials, and printed marketing collateral.
  • Manage layout systems, typography, image hierarchy, and visual consistency across multi-page publications.
  • Ensure all product information and visual assets remain accurate and up to date.

Print Production & Artwork Management
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for packaging and printed materials.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of print production, color management, finishing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
  • Review proofs, color separations, print specifications, and production files to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with domestic and overseas vendors throughout the production process.
  • Troubleshoot production issues while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Brand Management, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Brand Experience teams throughout the product development process.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming, product planning, and strategic design discussions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate design rationale and present creative solutions to stakeholders.

Senior Designer Responsibilities
  • Independently manage multiple brands and lead design projects from concept development through final production with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and decision-making throughout the creative process.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve creative quality, workflow efficiency, and design standards.
  • Balance creativity with business objectives, manufacturing requirements, and production feasibility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, consumer products, or CPG industry.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging design, advertising, branding, editorial design, and print production.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual communication principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of print production, color management, packaging materials, finishing methods, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience developing artwork for mass production.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
