Overview

We are seeking a digitally-focused Senior Copywriter with strong CRM, site, product, and UX writing experience to join our team and support a key fintech client! 

As a Senior Copywriter, you will craft compelling, cohesive, on-brand communications that drive engagement, build brand affinity, and foster meaningful customer conversations. You'll collaborate directly with clients as well as internal Account, Strategy, Creative, and Technology teams to develop concepts and strategies aligned with client goals. You'll guide and execute cross-channel digital creative from initial concept through multiple rounds of refinement to final delivery. You may also serve as the day-to-day creative lead on ongoing projects on multiple brands. 

Your work will focus on CRM, site, product, and UX copy but may also include other quippy marketing and compelling narrative work across shortform and longform, B2C and B2B, site, social, and email... anything is fair game. With a focus on consistency messaging, language, and tone across channels, you'll ensure that we deliver the right message to the right audience at the right time. 

PLEASE NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, or Miami metros and willing to commit to a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week on average. Highly qualified candidates living in other markets may also be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Develop clear, creative, and engaging short-, mid-, and longform copy for campaigns across digital media channels with a focus on CRM, site, product, and UX content.
  • Collaborate with creative leads and cross-functional teams to execute ideas for web-based, social, paid media, video, and email content.
  • Write in-depth creative and narrative content for landing pages, microsites, and digital experiences that extend consistent messaging across the entire digital marketing ecosystem.
  • Generate original concepts and deliver polished, client-ready content.
  • Work alongside content strategists to interpret business goals and technical requirements into clear, actionable, and user-friendly copy.
  • Partner with experience designers to craft intuitive user flows and page layouts, always advocating for the best user experience.
  • Ensure tone, style, and messaging are consistent across all touchpoints and align with the client's brand voice.
  • Proofread a variety of deliverables (including wireframes, copy decks, and visual comps) for grammar, spelling, and consistency.
  • Collaboratively integrate consumer insights into concepts and execution.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of prior digitally-focused copy and content writing experience, preferably in an advertising agency environment; prior experience supporting finance, technology, or healthcare clients preferred.
  • Broad experience across both creative, shortform, ad-style copywriting and longer, more narrative/journalistic storytelling with a focus of CRM, site, product, and UX copy.
  • Understanding of UX principles and how they inform copy.
  • Versatile writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across diverse brands and formats.
  • An ability to extend brand voice across channels, ensuring consistency in tone from marketing and ad copy to social content to site and product copy.
  • Experience performing A/B testing on campaign ideas.
  • Strong knowledge of trends in digital marketing and the broader interactive space.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional creative teams.
  • Excellent creative thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and design collaboration tools such as Sketch, Figma, and the full Adobe Suite.
  • A digitally-focused portfolio is required and should be submitted at time of application. Samples should include site, product, email, landing pages, banners, and similar digital channels.
