This structured six-month development role includes real sales experience, clear performance milestones, and ongoing support. High performers may advance early into a Local Sales Associate role with a higher base salary and commission eligibility. Continued employment beyond the program is based on successfully progressing into that next-level role.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn How to Identify New Business Opportunities: Build foundational prospecting skills by learning how to research local businesses, identify decision-makers, and begin outreach through cold calling, referrals, networking, business directories, and other outbound methods.
  • Learn How to Build and Manage a Sales Pipeline: Receive hands-on training in how to organize prospects, track activity and next steps in the CRM, and understand how opportunities move from initial outreach through quoting, closing, and order execution.
  • Develop Discovery and Client Communication Skills: Practice how to ask effective questions, identify client needs, communicate the value of fleet graphics and vehicle advertising solutions, and build confidence in sales conversations.
  • Build Consistent Sales Habits: Learn how to manage daily sales activities, including calls, emails, follow-up, meetings, and other outreach efforts, while working toward clear development and performance milestones.
  • Learn Alongside Experienced Sales Leaders: Partner with account managers and senior sales professionals on quotes, follow-up, client handoffs, project coordination, and client communication while developing full-cycle sales skills.
  • Prepare to Advance into a Local Sales Associate Role: Build the product knowledge, activity habits, sales skills, and confidence needed to progress into a Local Sales Associate position. High performers may have the opportunity to advance before the six-month development program is complete.

What It Takes to Win

  • No prior sales experience necessary; just a strong willingness to learn, accept coaching, and improve consistently through feedback and effort.
  • Bachelors/associate degree in business or related field and/or customer facing work (internship, job, athletics, etc.)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Tech-savvy; proficient in MS Office
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; ability to travel locally (20–30%)
