The Digital Advertising Specialist will work closely with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, this individual will take meaningful ownership of Rumpke’s paid media operation, driving execution and results across the full digital customer acquisition funnel for multiple service lines and regional markets.

The ideal candidate is an experienced digital marketer with a strong command of paid media strategy, full-funnel campaign management, landing page optimization, and performance reporting. This role offers broad scope, real business impact, and close collaboration with digital and marketing leadership at one of the country’s largest privately-owned waste and recycling companies.

This position is remote. Candidates within a reasonable daily commuting distance of Rumpke’s corporate headquarters in Cincinnati are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities of Position:

  • Campaign Management & Optimization
    • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, and additional platforms aligned with Rumpke’s various service lines and regional markets
    • Continuously improve campaign performance through A/B testing, bid strategy adjustments, audience refinement, and creative iteration
    • Manage advertising budgets efficiently to maximize return on ad spend and minimize cost per acquisition
    • Project and plan digital advertising budgets for annual planning cycles and individual campaigns, and model the impact of adjusted spend throughout the year to inform leadership decisions
  • Landing Pages & Full-Funnel Acquisition
    • Build and optimize landing pages that convert paid traffic into qualified leads and service inquiries
    • Design and manage end-to-end digital acquisition funnels, ensuring each stage moves prospects toward conversion with clear messaging and strong calls to action
    • Identify opportunities to improve funnel performance and implement best practices at every stage of the customer journey
  • Attribution & Performance Reporting
    • Maintain accurate conversion tracking, UTM structures, and pixel configurations across all active platforms
    • Deliver regular performance reports to leadership, translating campaign data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Collaboration & Brand Standards
    • Partner with communications, sales, and customer service teams to ensure advertising aligns with broader marketing and business objectives
    • Stay current on platform updates, emerging trends, and industry best practices to keep Rumpke’s advertising competitive and innovative
    • Uphold Rumpke’s brand standards across all ad creative, landing pages, and digital touch points
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • This position will not manage employees

Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:

  • Strong expertise in Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Meta Ads, Tiktok Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other major digital advertising platforms
  • Proficiency in conversion tracking, UTM parameters, Google Tag Manager, and campaign attribution
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, or equivalent reporting tools
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools and marketing technology to improve efficiency, ad copy, creative testing, and reporting workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present results and strategy clearly to leadership
  • Self-directed and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player who is open to feedback and focused on shared goals

Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital advertising with proven results in lead generation and conversion-focused campaigns
  • Experience building and optimizing landing pages using tools such as Unbounce, Instapage, Webflow, or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of full-funnel digital marketing strategy and conversion rate optimization best practices
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Marketing Intelligence tools for campaign reporting, attribution, and performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field preferred
