A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing emerging companies, Fortune 500 businesses, consumer brands, technology companies, life sciences companies, and media organizations in sophisticated trademark, copyright, branding, and advertising matters.

Ideal Background

2–4 years of intellectual property experience with an emphasis on trademark, copyright, and advertising law gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing consumer brands, technology companies, life sciences companies, retailers, manufacturers, media companies, and emerging businesses

• Experience handling U.S. and international trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement, and counseling

• Experience advising clients regarding copyright protection, licensing, infringement, and commercialization

• Experience drafting and negotiating trademark licenses, coexistence agreements, assignment agreements, settlement agreements, and other intellectual property agreements

• Experience with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings, domain name disputes (UDRP), advertising review, and brand protection is preferred

• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated trademark and copyright matters while maintaining significant client interaction
